Sara Tanaka is a young, ambitious businesswoman who works for a large downtown firm. However, for years her father, Jiro, has wanted Sara to take over the family business, a small fishing company he founded decades earlier. When Jiro suddenly tells Sara he is retiring, she must make a decision on what is most important personally and professionally.


Alejandro Yoshizawa is a filmmaker from Vancouver, British Columbia. His last feature, the documentary 'All Our Father's Relations', won multiple awards and was nominated for two Leo Awards. Alejandro is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Theatre and Film as well as the Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies Program.
